Michael Lemon is President of the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine (PIM) in Englewood, Colorado, and has over fourteen years of experience in healthcare education. He joined PIM in 1997 and is responsible to oversee adherence and documentation regarding compliance to the regulations and ethical codes promulgated by the agencies and organizations that govern the continuing medical education (CME) enterprise. Michael also serves as Senior Vice President, CME Compliance for Jobson Healthcare Information. Before attaining his current position, Michael’s professional commitments have focused on establishing, operating and strengthening multiple entrepreneurial organizations. Mr. Lemon earned his MBA degree from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business in Denver, Colorado.
Michael is a very active member of the CME community and has been an invited speaker for numerous engagements in the areas of compliance, regulatory issues, and best practices. He is a certified CME Professional (CCMEP), past President of the North American Association of Medical Education and Communication Companies (NAAMECC), a Fellow of the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (ACME) and has served as the Chair of the Medical Education and Communications Company Alliance (MECCA). Michael also serves as a Consulting Editor for CE Measure.

Dr. Hutchison holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan. As Director of Medical Education, Dr. Hutchison manages the overall educational design for activities provided by PIM. In addition, Dr. Hutchison provides oversight for the clinical aspects of the planning process at PIM. This oversight includes approval of all CME activities, synthesizing physician educational needs, linking the identified educational needs to desired results of educational initiatives, faculty selection and validation of clinical content. Dr. Hutchison's direction has aided PIM in earning exemplary recognition from ACCME in assessing physician needs.
Dr. Hutchison's proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of the changing healthcare environment aids our partners in executing medical education of the highest quality. His background includes over twenty-five years of experience in the healthcare industry, including a broad background in clinical practice, healthcare management and medical editing and publishing. Dr. Hutchison has held several notable positions prior to joining PIM, one being Editorial Director responsible for the clinical content found in both the United States Pharmcopeia and DRUGDEX®, an electronic drug database, while working at Micromedex.
Jan Schultz, RN, MSN, CCMEP
Director of Education Outcomes and Accreditation

Ms. Schultz holds a BSN with distinction and an MSN from the Indiana University
School of Nursing, Indianapolis. Jan manages the PIM education outcomes
measurement division and also plays a vital role in compliance endeavors and
maintenance for the PIM continuing education providerships (ACCME, ACPE, and
ANCC through the Colorado Nurses Association). Immediately prior to joining
PIM, Jan served as business director and CME executive director for
HealthStream, Inc. She has been involved in CME management for over 10 years
and serves as a volunteer ACCME Surveyor.
Jan brings a wealth of experience in both healthcare and continuing healthcare
education to PIM. She spent 18 years in professional education and marketing
positions within the medical device industry at American Hospital Supply
Corporation, Baxter and AMSCO. She has worked as an independent consultant to
hospitals and medical device manufacturers for continuing education and other
issues, and prior to her time in industry, Jan was a member of the professional
staff of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN). Her
clinical nursing experience included being Chairperson of the Operating Room
and Allied Areas Nursing at the Indiana University Hospitals, Indianapolis. She
is the author of numerous articles and a contributor to many textbooks on
perioperative nursing and sterilization science.
Allison Hughes, BS, CMP

Ms. Hughes holds a B.S. in marketing from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, has over 8 years of experience in CME certification and project direction and is a Certified Meeting Professional. Allison is a seasoned CME professional that has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the area of medical education operations, logistics, meeting planning and project management. In her current role, she is responsible to direct the PIM program management and record keeping teams and to provide oversight for the documentation requirements and administration of the rules and regulations promulgated by the agencies and organizations that govern the CME enterprise.
